We will be extending the deadline until Saturday, for those who had power outages from the recent storm which swept the East Coast, and were therefore not able to apply in time.
However, roles for which we receive auditions will be closed at the original ending time. We’ll be posting the list of unfilled roles on the 5th, oo be sure to try and send in your auditions before then!
We may also be adding a short intermission skit. I hope this isn’t too much of a bother! It would focus more on characters who didn’t have lines in the intro, so everyone gets a chance to be in a skit, but doesn’t have too many lines to memorize.

Hello! My friend and I noticed that, according to the Otakon panels roster, there isn’t an ask a Homestuck character panel being run. So we’re trying to make one ourselves. It would likely be held in the same location as the photoshoots on Friday at 10:00, lasting for an hour.
However, we have a dilemma; there is only two of us! We will likely be cosplaying Feferi and Calliope, but all other roles listed below are needed! All you need is a good costume, some roleplaying ability, and a large dosage of awesomeness. Sound like you? Awesome!
To try out, just email us at otakon2012homestuckpanel@gmail.com with either a video of you responding to the prompts below, in costume, or an mp3 of you responding, along with images of you in that costume (note: An exception will be made for uu, as his design has not yet been released and the inferable parts were only just released. If you can insure that you’ll finish the costume in time, we’ll take your word and no visual will be needed for your audition; just send one to us as soon as possible.) Remember that this will be improv, so try not to plan out your responses too much. If you chose to do a video, keep in mind that the space we have is quite limited and our cast will, if things go well, be quite large, so you will likely have very little room for physical gestures and the like. Similarly, as we want to answer as many questions as possible at the event, try to keep your answers and your total entry length rather short. Be sure to answer both the general questions, which apply to all characters, and the character specific ones. Feel free to submit responses for multiple characters, but please make each entry a separate file. You can enter up until midnight EST on July 4th. All entries after that time will be ignored. I’m really sorry, but, unfortunately, we don’t have much time to arrange this.
You should receive your confirmation notice within three or four days after the end of the admission period. All official results will then be posted here within that time frame. There will be at least one voice rehearsal, held through Skype, for the pre-written intro, and cast members will be expected to show up half an hour early to the event location for a quick intro runthrough.
